Nokia to roll out new Lumia device in May

Nokia has announced that it will unveil new Lumia hardware next month, Digital Spy said.

The Finnish phone maker has distributed media invites bearing the text 'The Nokia Lumia story continues' for an event scheduled for May 14.

Several new Nokia products have been rumoured of late, including a Windows Phone 8-powered rival to the Samsung Galaxy Note line and the 41-megapixel camera-packing EOS.

Nokia could also unveil its purported Catwalk smartphone, a slimline addition to the Lumia range with a 4.5-inch OLED screen.

The Nordic firm unveiled new hardware earlier this week in the shape of the Asha 210 feature phone, a budget device with a physical keyboard and dedicated WhatsApp button.

Nokia announced its quarterly financial results last week, reporting strong Lumia sales amid overall decline.
