Google Maps for iOS has received an update adding service booking functionality to the application, Digital Spy said.
Users can now make flight, hotel and restaurant reservations in-app following the introduction of a new wave of Google Now features.
Searching for a hotel, restaurant or airport will see users served with a list of automated options, providing they have a linked Gmail account. The update bears similarities to new features that Google added to the desktop version of its Google Maps service back in October.
Meanwhile, Google added a user-generated content section to its mapping service earlier this week, allowing users to host their own virtual tours.
Google Maps for iOS devices is available as a free download from the App Store.
