Jordi Molla to star as villain in Vince Vaughn’s indie “Term Life”

Spanish actor Jordi Molla (“Riddick”) is set to star as a villain in Vince Vaughn’s indie feature “Term Life”, Variety said.

Hailee Steinfeld and Bill Paxton also star in “Term Life.” The film is directed by Peter Billingsley from a screenplay by A.J. Lieberman who wrote the original graphic novel that he created with Nick Thornborrow.

Vince Vaughn, Micah Mason and Victoria Vaughn are producing for Wild West Picture Show Productions. The movie is being fully financed by Kevin Frakes’ PalmStar Media Capital and their partner Merced Media. Universal Pictures will distribute the film.

In “Term Life,” Vaughn’s character is hunted by a ruthless mob and takes out a life insurance policy on himself to benefit his estranged daughter, played by Steinfeld. Molla will portray a ruthless and debonair member of the Mexican cartel who blames Vaughn’s character for the death of his only son (played by William Levy).

Molla recently completed shooting a series regular role in FX’s “Hoke,” opposite Paul Giamatti.
