The third and final trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past debuted on TBS' Conan Tuesday, April 15 - and it gives a closer look at the film bringing together two generations of mutants. Conan O'Brien also had a hand in unveiling the opening scene for the upcoming film, which aired during Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, The Hollywood Reporter said.

X-Men: Days of Future Past stars Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Peter Dinklage, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Anna Paquin, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart and Shawn Ashmore.

The Fox film opens May 23.
