OSCE MG Co-chair urges Armenian, Azeri leaders to meet in Paris

The U.S. Co-chair of the OSCE Minsk group expressed America’s readiness to take every effort to promote a peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

In an interview with the Voice of America’s Azeri Service, ambassador James Warlick spoke of the recent visit of Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to South Caucasus, where he urged Armenian and Azeri president’s to accept French leader Francios Hollande’s invitation for a summit meeting in Paris.

The ambassador further called to continue productive discussions on the issue that began last November in Paris.

“The U.S. in committed to the Minsk Group process. We’re also prepared to help bilaterally in any way we can,” the ambassador concluded.
