Ethnic Armenian Esabelle Dingizian has been appointed a third deputy to the Swedish Riksdag newly elected speaker Urban Ahlin for the period of 2014–2018.

The deputy speakers take turns in presiding over the meetings together with the speaker. They also represent the Riksdag in various contexts.

Esabelle Dingizian has been a member of the Riksdag since 2006. She has been member of the Committee on Cultural Affairs and deputy member in a number of committees including the Committee on the Labour Market and the Committee on Education. Dingizian is member of parliament for the Stockholm County Council constituency.
