One Direction make U.S. chart history with new album "FOUR"

One Direction have made U.S. chart history with their latest album FOUR, Digital Spy said.

The group have become the first band to reach number one on the Billboard chart with each of their first four albums.

With worldwide sales of over 2 million in its first week, FOUR has hit the top of the album charts in the UK, US, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece and Japan.

They have also become only the 14th act to reach one billion streams on Spotify.

Madame Tussauds Hollywood celebrated the launch of its One Direction wax figures earlier this week.
