Edgar Wright, Winona Ryder among Sundance Film Fest jurors

Directors Edgar Wright and Cary Fukunaga and actress Winona Ryder are among the jurors selected for the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. The trio will serve on the U.S. Dramatic jury, while screenwriter Jonathan Nolan and actress Brit Marling are part of the group that will award the Alfred P. Sloan Prize for the depiction of science in film, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The festival, which runs Jan. 22-Feb. 1, named the members of its six juries, which will award prizes at the annual indie film pilgrimage to Park City, Utah.

Comedian Tig Notaro will host the festival’s feature-film awards ceremony on Jan. 31, which will be live-streamed at sundance.org/live. Notaro was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2014 for her sophomore release LIVE. A favorite on Conan and This American Life, and host of a weekly podcast, Professor Blastoff, Notaro executive produced the autobiographical documentary Tig, which will have its world premiere in the festival’s Documentary Premieres section.

Short-film awards will be announced at a separate ceremony on Jan. 27 at Park City’s Jupiter Bowl.
