Two planes en route to Yerevan from Russia’s Mineralnye Vody and Rostov-on-Don failed to land at Zvartnots Airport of Yerevan on Saturday, Dec 20 because of a heavy fog, Panorama.am reported citing the spokesman for the General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia Ruben Grdzelyan.

“The plane flying from Rostov-on-Don headed to Sochi, while the other one was sent back to Mineralnye Vody,” he said.

The spokesman, however, added that the weather is clearing up and the airport will begin hosting flights soon.
