Toshiba is apparently launching an ultra-slim tablet at the Consumer Electronics Show next month, Digital Spy said.

The electronics firm posted a teaser image of the mystery device on its UK Twitter account, offering a cryptic look at one of its corners.

The tweet was posted alongside the caption 'Keep on Clickin', which could indicate that the tablet 'clicks' onto a keyboard accessory and functions like a laptop.

Toshiba continues to invest heavily in its laptop range, and will launch refreshed models of its Chromebook 2 machines in the first quarter of 2015.

Little can be gauged from the teaser photograph itself, aside from the device's slender proportions.

CES 2015 takes place in Las Vegas between January 6 and January 9.
