Chris Pratt “courted to headline new "Indiana Jones" movie”

Chris Pratt reportedly has a new big movie offer on his plate. As AceShowbiz reveals citing Deadline, the actor who became one of the in-demand actors after his superhero role in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" is courted to headline the upcoming new "Indiana Jones" movie.

Talks about "Indiana Jones V" have actually been going on for years, and they intensify after Walt Disney Studios owns the rights to the franchise following LucasFilm takeover in 2012. The famed archeologist was made famous by Harrison Ford in the original films.

Steven Spielberg's frequent collaborator Janusz Kaminski is expected to work as cinematographer in the much-awaited project. Robert Pattinson and Bradley Cooper were rumored to take on the lead role in the past, but the former dismissed the casting report.

Chris Pratt will next be seen in "Jurassic World". He is also set to reprise his role as Star Lord in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" and lands a role in "The Magnificent Seven" with Denzel Washington and director Antoine Fuqua.
