Unlimited cash to be allowed on Russia-Armenia flights

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev inked a ruling to help unify Russian legislation with the norms of the trade partners, thus enabling to carry unlimited amounts of cash during flights to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan or Armenia.

An order, introducing a bill stipulating for customs duty exemption for transactions involving foreign currency and securities, was posted on Russian government’s website.

According to the website, the bill was developed for unification of the legislation of the Customs Union member states. The bill stipulates for exemption of customs duties for activities involving production of goods, Russian currency, foreign currency (except those used for numismatic purposes) as well as securities put into circulation, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
