Grammy winner Alicia Keys back with new single “In Common”

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Alicia Keys is currently preparing to release her sixth studio album, and if the lead single is anything to go by, it's lining up to be a pretty decent effort, Digital Spy said.

The American star has released new cut 'In Common', while also debuting a new stripped-down image.

The track – co-written by Keys with Montagnese, Billy Walsh and Taylor Parks – is subtly infectious with its tropical electronics and buoyant beats.

Alicia Keys's new album will serve as the follow-up to 2012's Girl On Fire, which reached No.1 in the U.S. and 15 in the UK.

The singer has been in the studio with British group Clean Bandit too, meaning this deep house sound could continue through her new record.

"What I know for a fact is it's the best music I've ever done in my life yet, and it's really exciting to be able to have this kind of growth, this type of opportunity," Keys has previously said of her new music.
