Gael Garcia Bernal, Peter Dinklage, Patton Oswalt set for Sudance jury

The Sundance Film Festival on Wednesday, January 11 unveiled its 2017 jury members, and Peter Dinklage, Patton Oswalt, Larry Wilmore, Gael Garcia Bernal and producer Julie Goldman are among those taking part, The Hollywood Reporter reveals.

The fest will award 28 prizes for feature-length films at a live-streamed ceremony held Jan. 28 and hosted by Jessica Williams. Awards for short films will be announced at a live-streamed ceremony on Jan. 24.

The U.S. Dramatic Jury features Bernal, Dinklage (whose next film Rememory will screen at the fest), writer-director Jody Hill, AFI Fest director Jacqueline Lyanga and production designer Jeannine Oppewall.

Oswalt, director David Lowery and costume designer Shirley Kurata are on the Short Film Jury.

The U.S. Documentary Jury includes Wilmore, director Diego Bunuel, Goldman, writer-director Robert Greene and American Masters creator Susan Lacy.

On the World Cinema Dramatic Jury are producer Nai An, Sonia Braga, director Athina Rachel Tsangari, while the World Cinema Documentary Jury includes film curator Carl Spence, screenwriter Marina Stavenhagen and filmmaker Lynette Wallworth.

The Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize Jury includes cognitive neuroscientist Heather Berlin, flight systems engineer Tracy Drain, NPR correspondent Nell Greenfieldboyce, screenwriter Nicole Perlman and director Jennifer Phang.

The Sundance Film Festival is set to run Jan. 19-29.
