Arsenal expect Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan to return to full training next week after a month out with a fractured metatarsal, the Gunners revealed on Thursday, January 17.

Mkhitaryan said in a Facebook post that he is looking forward to returning to Arsenal after a foot injury he suffered weeks ago.

"Can‘t wait to be back on the pitch," the captain of the Armenian national team captioned a photo of himself.

Mkhitaryan joined Arsenal in January 2018. He is currently sidelined with metatarsal fracture which saw him miss the last five matches. The Armenian is isn't expected back until February.

The player recently shared a video on his Twitter page, in which he runs on a treadmill.
