Henrikh Mkhitaryan could return to action against Man United: media

Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan could return to action against his former club Manchester United, Evening Standard says in an article.

The Armenia international is back in full training at Arsenal this week after his recent injury.

Arsenal will look to become the first team to beat Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on Friday, January 25.

Arsenal said in a tweet on Monday that they are looking forward to seeing Mkhitaryan back on the pitch soon.

Mkhitaryan joined the Gunners in January 2018. He is currently sidelined with metatarsal fracture which saw him miss the last five matches. The Armenian is was not initially expected back until February.

The player recently shared a video on his Twitter page, in which he runs on a treadmill.
