During the June 18 meeting in Saint Petersburg, the Board of the Anti-Crisis Fund (ACF) of EurAsEC consisting of finance ministers of the Fund’s member-states – Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Armenia – decided to provide $70mln credit to Tajikistan at 1% fixed interest rate, with 20-year term.

The decision was adopted after consideration and approval of conclusion of the Eurasian Development Bank on Tajikistan’s application for the obtainment of the aforementioned financial (stabilization) credit from the ACF funds, the press service of the Eurasian Development Bank told PanARMENIAN.Net. The credit basically aims to keep the budgetary financing of social sectors (education, healthcare and social protection) at the envisaged level.
