Supreme Ataman of Great Brotherhood of Cossack Forces, member of the Russian MFA’s commission at the Council on Cossack Affairs under the Russian President Valery Nikitin said that they do their utmost to continue and boost cooperation between Armenians and Cossacks, however much depends on Armenia’s state bodies.

Answering a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter’s question on further joint projects between Armenians and Cossacks, Nikitin told a press conference in Yerevan that it is necessary to establish military patriotic cadet corps for children in Armenia.

“It does not matter whether they will become officers or not. The most important thing is that they will become good patriots of their Fatherland,” he said.

Ataman of the Armenian Union of Cossacks, general-lieutenant Karen Zadoyan said that Mayor of Gyumri Vardan Ghukasyan offered to establish cadet corps in Gyumri.
