Serzh Sargsyan appointed as Prime Minister of Armenia by RA President's decree

PanARMENIAN.Net - By RA President Robert Kocharian's decree signed on June 7 Serzh Sargsyan is appointed as Prime Minister of Armenia, the Presidential Press Office reports. According to the RA Constitution, on the day of the first session of the newly elected National Assembly the government declares resignation. Ten days following that resignation the new Prime Minister is being appointed, and then during the following 20 days the premier must form the future cabinet.



Serzh Sargsyan occupies the post of Armenian Prime Minister from April 4, 2007 after the sudden death of late Premier Andranik Margaryan.
