Armenia marks Constitution Day

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenia marks the Constitution Day. The Organic Law was adopted on July 5, 1995 in the result of a national referendum. On November 27, 2005 a nation-wide referendum was held in Armenia on proposing amendments to the Constitution of Armenia. 93.3% of Armenia's citizens voted for amendments. The acting Constitution contains 117 articles, which state that Armenia is a sovereign, democratic, social and jural state, where the power belongs to its people.
