Romanian Defense Minister arriving in Armenia October 9

PanARMENIAN.Net - Romania's Defense Minister Teodor Melescanu will arrive in Armenia October 9 on a 3-day formal visit.



RA Defense Minister's Spokesman, colonel Seyran Shahsuvaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net that Defense Minister Mikael Harutyunyan, Deputy Defense Minister Ara Nazaryan, First Deputy to the Chief of the General Staff, general lieutenant Enriko Apriamov and some high-ranking officers will meet the Romanian delegation at the Erebuni airport.



The delegation members are scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan, Defense Minister Mikael Harutyunyan, Chairman of the permanent parliamentary committee on defense and internal affairs Artur Aghabekyan and General Staff Chief Seyran Ohanyan.



Agreements on bilateral military cooperation are supposed to be signed.



October 11 the guests will attend the Memorial to Armenian Genocide victims and the Museum-Institute of Armenian Genocide.
