RA President lifted some limitations on freedom of media

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Robert Kocharian signed a decree on introducing amendments to the edict on imposition of state of emergency. The amended paragraph 4/4 bans furnishing deliberately false and destabilizing information on state and domestic affairs as well as calls for participation in illegal events, publication and circulation of such calls by any other means.



The 5/4 paragraph lost validity.



The edict will come into effort on March 14, 2008, the RA President's press office reported.
