  Yuri Khachaturov appointed Chief of RA Armed Forces General StaffApril 15, 2008 - 13:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on appointment lieutenant general Yuri Khachaturov Chief of RA Armed Forces General Staff and First Deputy to the Minister of Defense. By the same decree, Yuri Khachaturov was released from the post of Deputy Defense Minister. By another decree, Yuri Khachaturov was conferred the rank of colonel general. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
