Armenian citizens to be returned to homeland

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian citizens detained in Nakhijevan will be returned to homeland, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said. He reminded that the transfer was due a week ago but it was postponed by the Azeri Defense Ministry alleging "necessity of following appropriate procedures."



Four Armenian citizens - Vanik Zmboyan from Gavar, Artem Zohrabyan, Karen Torosyan and Aghasi Yenokyan from Noragyugh village - went to the village of Khachik to meet a friend. Coming back, they lost their way finding themselves in Nakhijevan.



Meanwhile, Azeri media reported arrest of "Armenian special troops planning a provocation in Azerbaijan."
