Former Armenian FM established Civilitas Foundation![]() June 6, 2008 - 18:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's former Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian established Civilitas Foundation in Yerevan with a purpose to strengthen Armenia's statehood and for the glory of the Armenian people via promoting Armenia's foreign policy and implementation of projects targeted at development and democratization. The Foundation will organize round-table discussions and conferences, thus engaging publics into a dialogue on the republic's problems. The Foundation Council will also work for establishment of peace and stability in the Caucasus via a cultural and political dialogue. Civilitas Foundation was registered as an uncommercial undertaking. The official opening ceremony will take place in Yerevan in September. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
