EU welcomes Armenia's policy toward Turkey

PanARMENIAN.Net - The European Union welcomes the policy Armenia follows to normalize relations with Turkey, RA ambassador to the EU and Benelux countries Vigen Chitechyan told reporters in Yerevan.



"Armenia should be active in implementation of the Action Plan, which is extremely important for the reform process," he said.



At that, he noted that Armenia's ambassadors to all of 27 EU member states work harmoniously for resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. "I should mention that the EU has always pursued a balanced policy toward the Karabakh conflict. All documents adopted by the Union include the principle of territorial integrity and that of nations' right to self-determination," amb. Chitechyan said.
