Swiss MPs hope for peaceful resolution of Karabakh conflict

PanARMENIAN.Net - Members of the Switzerland-Armenia parliamentary friendship group met in Yerevan with representatives of Nagorno Karabakh.



"Switzerland stands for a peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict. We welcome all initiatives for protection of rights and security of Karabakh people and for establishment of stability in the region," Ueli Leuenberger, co-chair of the friendship group, told a news conference in Yerevan.



In the framework of the visit, the Swiss MPs attended the Armenian Genocide Memorial, met with the RA President and Parliament Speaker as well as with opposition representatives.
