Lithuania to help Armenia's integration into European structuresJanuary 31, 2009 - 21:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met in Davos with Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus to discuss ways to promote bilateral relations. Addressing the Armenia-EU relations, Mr. Adamkus voiced his country's willingness to help Armenia's integration into European structures. For his part, President Sargsyan briefed on Yerevan's approaches to resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations. He also thanked his Lithuanian counterpart for recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the Lithuanian Seimas and stressed the importance of establishing Lithuanian diplomatic outpost in Armenia. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
