Sculptor Nikolay Nikoghosyan awarded Saint Mesrop Mashtots OrderFebruary 23, 2009 - 18:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 20, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed an edict to award Saint Mesrop Mashtots Order to sculptor Nikolay Nikoghosyan on his 90th birthday. The sculptor was awarded for his contribution to the development of sculpture and applied arts and strengthening of Armenian-Russian cultural ties. Ara Aivazian said Azerbaijan continues the traditions of Turkey after seizing territories and forced Armenians out. The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest.
