Preservation of cultural heritage in BSEC member states discussed in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - 2-day round table discussions on preservation and reconstruction of historical monuments were launched in Yerevan today. On the first day of discussions, the representative of Greece, Doctor of Architecture and the Head of the European center of Byzantine and Post Byzantine monuments Eugenia Hadgitriponos introduced the pilot "Byzantine monuments and cultural heritage" project. Bulgarian delegate Dolya Jordanova presented a project entitled "Summer practical seminars on archeological sites in Bulgaria - opportunities for education of young people in the field of common cultural heritage preservation in the Black sea region".



The round table discussions were organized by the RA Ministry of Culture within the framework of Armenia's rotating presidency in the BCES. Among the participants were representatives from Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Serbia and Georgia.
