Armenian government toughens control over trade facilities' activity

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian government has obliged trade facilities to submit declarations to the licensing body.

The declaration should include a license for place of operation.

"This license will allow creation of places of operation. At that, the businessmen will pay income tax instead of a fixed tax," Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan told government on Thursday.

He said the measure aims to regulate the activities of trade fair workers, what will help battle against shadow market and fill in the gaps in the trade chain.

The executive power still hopes that the improved documentation circulation will make major businessmen pay taxes properly.
