Samvel Farmanyan: no agreement on presidential meeting yet

PanARMENIAN.Net - During OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen's latest visit to the region an agreement has been reached regarding the meeting to take place between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan within the next few months to come. But at present, the exact dates and the venue have not been set yet, said Samvel Farmanyan, press-secretary of Armenia's president, to PanARMENIAN.Net



As "Komersant" reported earlier, the OSCE Minsk Group on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement is considering the possibility of Sargsyan-Alyev meeting on May 7 in the Prague at the EU summit on "Eastern Partnership." The RF Foreign Affairs Minister, Sergey Lavrov will propose to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev in Baku the date and the venue of the meeting, offering to hold it on the territory of RF Embassy in the Prague. "If this offer is accepted, the Russian party can already announce about its constructive contribution in Nagorno-Karabakh problem settlement," the newspaper reports.
