Javakhk problems caused by domestic tensions in Georgia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Throwing Vahagn Chakhalyan into prison, Georgian authorities want to suppress the Armenian population's wish to protect their own rights, an expert said.

"Problems of Javakheti Armenians are caused by domestic tensions in Georgia. National minorities appear as the country's most pressing problem," Tamara Vardanyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

"Armenian political parties and public should take action and demand that Vahagn Chakhalyan and other Armenian activists be released," she said.
