Valeri Gergiev to conduct a master class with Armenian State Youth OrchestraMay 1, 2009 - 16:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 4, a conductor Valeri Gergiev will conduct a master class with Armenian State Youth Orchestra in Komitas Yerevan State Conservatory.The musicians will be given a unique opportunity to perform Mirzoyan's works under the guidance of Gergiev. On the evening of May 4 Youth Orchestra will give a joint performance with Mariinski Theater Symphonic Orchestra in Aram Khatchaturyan Concert Hall. Armenian State Youth Orchestra has already performed with world-known musicians Denis Matsuev, Vadim Repin and many others. Within 3 years the orchestra represented Armenia performing in world-famous music halls: Opera Garinier in France, Konzerthaus in Berlin, Chaykovski Moscow Conservatory, Moscow Philarmopnic Hall.
