Armenian Students receive high appraisals from the Laboratory of KasperskiMay 13, 2009 - 23:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today an award presentation ceremony took place at the State Engeneering University of Armenia. Students of the Engeneering Univesity took place in the Moscow International Student competiotion on computer safety and security organized uder the auspices of Kasperski Lab. Students of the Armenian Engeneering university were awarded the first degree diploma (out of three). Students of the Information safety and software department Elena Kosolapova and 2nd year MA course Nina Azizyan, won in the «Education projects» nomination for the «Study of criptography methods» project, prepared cooperatively by a team of 20 students. As Gevork Markarov, chair of Information safety and software of the Engeneering university, told to a PanARMENIAN.net, thanks to the participation in the competition the university received certain benefits for products of Kasperski lab. Besides, as he mentioned the students will be granted "an opportunity to intern in the headquarters of the company, and the best students will be offered jobs on a competitive basis. According to Markarov, the «Laboratory of Kasperski» discusses the opportunity of opening its branch in Armenia.
