Russian investment into Armenia' s economy reached USD 1.8 billion and some 1000 companies work with Russian capital," said the Russian prime minister Sergey Ivanov a press conference and added that nearly all Russian companies have business in Armenia. "It is easier to find some big Russian company, which invest into Armenian economy, than vice versa," said the prime minister. Mr. Ivanov said, that Russian Railways intend to invest 2.7 billion rubles to South CDaucasus Railways. CJSC «South Caucasus Railway» is a subsidiary of OJSC « Russian Railway». According to Согласно concession, signed on February 13 last year «Armenian Railway» transferred to concession management of «South Caucasus Railway» for a 30 year period with permission to prolongate the term for another 10 years.
