German Embassy in RA commented on Bundestag decision on Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - Germany supports MG OSCE CO-Chairs' effort directed at the peaceful and mutually acceptable settlement of conflict based on 1975 Helsinki Final Act principles: non-use of force, territorial integrity and a right for self determination, German Embassy in RA told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. "Decision of Bundestag International Affairs committee, passed in connection with draft resolution 16/12726 submitted by a number of Parliamentary factions, corresponds to this position," the Embassy reported.

Earlier, the Leader of European Movement in Armenia, Victor Yengibaryan reported that on May 15 a Resolution on South Caucasus was adopted in Germany, which, among others issues, included NKR conflict. "Resolution specifies the necessity of withdrawal of military forces from NKR and emphasizes territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Actually, the resolution is only of advisory character," Yengibaryan noted.
