Zaruhi Postanjyan's proposals in PACE are based on Armenian society's interestsJune 24, 2009 - 21:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - "Turkish and Azeri MPs signed a 3-point document on changes to PACE resolution for Armenia, RA NA MP, Heritage Faction representative Stepan Safaryan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, after prior telephone conversation with Armenian PACE Delegation representative Zaruhi Postanjyan.According to Stepan Safaryan, Turkish and Azeri MPs signed a well thought-over document, prepared by Zaruhi Postangyan, without carefully reading contents that included a point on release of Artsakh war heroes from prisons. "This is why Azeri PACE Delegation representative Rafael Husseinov published a disclaimer stating Azeri MP did not sign the document," he said. Stepan Safaryan also noted that as Armenian Delegation representatives found themselves in a "sad" situation, they're trying to use all the means available, including Media, to discredit Zaruhi Postanjyan's actions. He also added that the document prepared by Zaruhi Postanjyan contains 3 points, one of which includes rehabilitation of March 1-2, 2008 events' Evidence Control Group and involvement of international experts. "Zarihi Postanjyan's proposals in PACE are based on Armenian society's interests. Now, why the Armenian Delegation is opposed Armenian society's interests is a question to be answered by Delegation itself," Safaryan stated.
