Emil Gazaz to have his home-museum in Gyumri

PanARMENIAN.Net - As we knew today in a press conference devoted to sculptor and artist Emil Gazaz's exhibition in Yerevan, the artist is going to have his home museum in Armenian town of Gyumri.



Emil Gazaz was last in his homeland in 1986 when he was visiting Gyumri, his spouse Mane Hayryan said. Ever since, he has not returned there, for fear of seeing the earthquake-damaged town.



Emil Gazaz (Manvel Gazazyan) was born in 1953 in Gyumri, in a family of a shoemaker. Love for art was brought up in future artist by his mother who introduced him to the world of art from early childhood.
