Superpowers force Yerevan and Ankara to normalize relations

PanARMENIAN.Net - The real danger in the Armenian-Turkish relations lies in the fact that nobody knows what will be the next document, Manvel Sargsyan , political scientist told a press conference in Yerevan today. "In fact, neither Armenia nor Turkey did not take any steps to normalize relations. They did not have such a wish, " political analyst said.



He stressed that after the August events in Georgia, the situation in the region has changed dramatically, and the superpowers forced Yerevan and Ankara to the Armenian- Turkish dialogue. According Manvel Sargsyan, based on that Armenia is trying to take a more comfortable position in the negotiations, but if Turkey is ready to normalize relations with Armenia, it means there have been already some agreements. "Otherwise, Ankara is forced to do it," Manvel Sargsyan said. According to him, today Turkey has every opportunity to get from Armenia everything it wants.
