Rich Goldman: Information technology Armenia's great natural resource

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the framework of the week of Synopsys in Armenian President' Awards were handed to students in the sphere of Information Technology September 29 in Yerevan.



The award-giving ceremony was attended by the chief adviser to the president for economic affairs Vahram Nersisyants, minister of economy Nerses Yeritsyan, minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, minister for science and education Armen Ashotyan, as well as Synopsys president and chief operating officer Chi-Foon Chan, Synopsys-Armenia's high management Rich Goldman and Hovik Musayelyan. 



During his congratulatory speech, Vahram Nersisyants stressed that awards are intended to encourage future professionals of the Armenian IT industry. 



This year two prizes were also given to "the best students of the Diaspora". Congratulating them on obtaining such a high award, minister for Diaspora Ms. Hakobyan attached importance to the need to consolidate the forces of the Armenians from over the world to achieve common goals. 



"Armenia at the moment is on the verge of the global change, and these changes will be made with the help of information technology. This is a great natural resource of Armenia, Rich Goldman said. 



At the moment President Serzh Sargsyan meets with the winners of the Presidential Award in the sphere of IT.
