8 works by 8 Bulgarian composers to be performed in Yerevan today

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Armenia-Bulgaria: musical bridges" concert will be held in Yerevan Tuesday in the framework of Return Fest in Chamber Music House on October 6.

8 works by 8 Bulgarian composers will be performed.

"The program was drawn jointly with the framework Return Fest founders and we are hopeful that it will be welcomed by Armenian music-lovers," said Velislav Zaimov, president of the Bulgarian Composers' Union.

"The Composers' Unions of Armenia and Bulgaria started cooperation in 1961. However, ties were severed after USSR decline. We managed to organize a concert in Sofia last year. It's Yerevan's turn now," composer Levon Chaushyan said.

Return Fest is held by Art Gallery Cultural Foundation under the patronage of first lady Rita Sargsyan and with financial assistance of VivaCell-MTS.
