Max Howard: Armenian animated films have every prospect of conquering the world

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan International festival of animated films "ReAnimania" makes good position in the world. This was a common opinion among famous animators from different countries who were passionately speaking about ReAnimania on the closing day of the festival. 



Armenian animation is distinctive, and can achieve worldwide recognition, if a stable animation production industry is ensured, experts said. According to them, the festival proved Armenian art of animation is developed ". 



"Animation is only a tool to tell stories. Armenia, being at the crossroads of cultures, has a rich cultural heritage. Armenian animated films have every prospect of conquering the world, if Armenia's historical and cultural potential is used, " a famous Hollywood producer of animated films Max Howard said. 



From 3 to 6 October Yerevan hosted the first International Animated Film Festival "ReAnimania". During the festival 100 animated films from 31 countries have been screened. "ReAnimania" cooperates with "Annecy" international animation film festival, Stuttgart film festival, Aardman Studio, Galust Gulpenkian Foundation, "Golden Apricot" International Film Festival, etc. Embassies of France, Brazil, USA and Germany in Armenia provided assistance in organizing the festival, VivaCell-MTS acted as the general sponsor of the events.

ReAnimania International Animated Film Festival, which is dedicated to the founder of 3D-animation Alexander Shirinyan, will be held every year.
