Armenia to develop its military might

PanARMENIAN.Net - RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, National Security Council Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan, General Staff Chief Yuri Khachaturov and high ranking officers of the Defense Ministry held Friday a meeting on military reform.



"Military reform is the imperative and guarantee of the country's development," Minister Ohanyan said in his opening remarks. "It will ensure quality reorganization of the army."



Touching on the possible opening of the Armenian-Turkish border, he said that the Defense Ministry will take action to prevent all negative factors.



For his part, NSC Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan dwelled on Armenia's cooperation with NATO and CSTO.
