Sardarapat movement formed in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Miatsum national initiative leader Zhirayr Sefilyan, member of parliament Vardan Khachatryan and film director Tigran Khzmalyan announced formation of a new movement named Sardarapat.



"We named the movement Sardarapat as we compare the current state of affairs with the Sardarapat battle," Tigran Khzmalyan said.



For his part, Zhirayr Sefilyan briefed on the movement's plans. "A committee will be formed first of all. It will periodically inform the nation about future plans," he said.



"The movement is financially independent. We do not want to depend on any one," Vardan Khachatryan added.
