Armenian chess team suffers its first defeat in European Team Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the 3rd round of 17 European Team Championship taking place in Novi Sad, Serbia, Armenian chess team suffered its first defeat, falling behind Serbians by score 1.5:2.5.



The only winner of Armenia's team was Levon Aronyan. Gabriel Sargsyan and Arman Pashikyan were beaten by their rivals, while Tigran Petrosyan ended the match in a draw.



After three rounds, Armenian team earned 4 points, appearing on the 12th position of tournament table.



In the fourth round, Armenian chess players will compete against the Serbian team.
