German President: Armenia - important partner to Berlin

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 29, RA Ambassador to Germany Armen Martirosyan presented his credentials to German President Horst Köhler. Following the ceremony, German President emphasized that Armenia is an important partner to Berlin. In his turn, Armen Martirosyan stated that Armenia is ready to raise RA-Germany relations to a new level.



At the meeting, parties discussed a number of issues, including financial crisis consequences on Armenian economy. Armen Martirosyan briefed the President on recent developments in RA-Turkey rapprochement process.



Wishing Armen Martirosyan success, German President Horst Köhler expressed a hope that the Ambassador will further contribute to the development of bilateral relations, RA MFA press service reported.
