Armenian-Russian allied relations remain important directive of RA foreign policyNovember 5, 2009 - 19:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - RA NA President Mr Hovik Abrahamyan November 5 received the Ambassador of Russia in Armenia, Vyacheslav Kovalenko. Welcoming the guest, Mr. Abrahamyan stressed that the allied relations between Russia and Armenia are one of the most important directives of foreign policy of Armenia. Hovik Abrahamyan stressed the importance of high-level political relations between countries, mutually beneficial cooperation in military-technical, humanitarian, trade and economic spheres. The officials attached importance to the work of intergovernmental and interparliamentary commission on cooperation and noted that the committees are important tools for the development of bilateral relations.
