NATO supports normalization of Armenia-Turkey ties without preconditions

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 6, RA President Serzh Sargsyan met Special Representative of NATO Secretary General in the South Caucasus and Central Asia Robert Simmons.



At the meeting, the President gave high assessment to Armenia-NATO collaboration in military and security sphere, expressing Armenia's readiness to strengthen the partnership.



In his turn, Robert Simmons emphasized the importance of Armenia's contribution to international peacemaking activities.



Special Representative of NATO Secretary General in the South Caucasus and Central Asia especially noted the progress in RA-Turkey rapprochement, expressing NATO's support for normalization of Armenia-Turkey ties without preconditions.



Robert Simmons expressed a hope Protocols will be ratified in nearest future.



The parties exchanged views on Armenia-NATO collaboration -related issues, RA President's official website reported.
