RA Prime Minister’s joining RPA quite natural

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Rumors are afloat that the ruling Republican Party of Armenia offered the Prime Minister to join the party.

“For about a year the Republican Party has advocated the view that the Prime Minister cannot be a member of any political party. Now it assumed a different position,” Stepan Safaryan, head of Heritage parliamentary group, told a news conference in Yerevan.

MP from the Republican Party Karen Avagyan, for his part, denied reports that the Prime Minister’s move was prompted by the Republican Party’s decision. "Everyone decides for himself which party to join," he stressed.

According to him, Tigran Sargsyan’s decision was quite natural.
